As someone who loves movies, I almost always have strong feelings about what happens in them. I also have unpopular opinions on some of them.
Below are my top picks:
1: There are a few exceptions of when the Harry Potter movies portray Ginny well
Every Harry Potter fan says that book Ginny is far superior and that movie Ginny is bland and lame. When rereading parts of the novels, I can see why.
In the books, Ginny has more development, plays more roles, and is stronger. In the films, she is mostly a background character with fewer lines.
However, I think there are a handful of times Ginny’s film portrayal was all right.
They include:
– The Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone – In the book, she acted immaturely when she saw Harry boarding the Hogwarts Express. But in the movie, she was calm, quiet, and mature. This was actually the only time the movie adaptations depicted her better in my opinion.
– The Chamber of Secrets – When she told Draco to leave Harry alone when he was being mean to him.
– The Half-Blood Prince – When she shouted, “Shut it!” to the other Gryffindors on the quidditch team as Harry was trying to talk to them, but they wouldn’t listen.
– The Half-Blood Prince – When she comforted Harry as he wept by Dumbledore’s dead body. I found that heartwarming and beautiful. This wasn’t even in the book.
2: Shrek the Third is the best out of all the Shrek movies
Most people consider this to be the worst and even a bad movie. I, however, found it to be the opposite.
To the majority of people, Shrek 2 is the best out of all the films in the franchise. I like that one, too. But the 3rd movie cracks me up a lot.
Aside from the humor, the other strengths include the:
– Character development
– Morals taught
– Breaking of stereotypes

3: It would be cool if Disney made R-rated movies
Yes, the company is meant to be family-friendly. But they already do have some PG-13 rated movies. However, most of them are rated PG-13 for violence levels, although some have strong language, such as 2012’s John Carter. They only include milder profanity, though, such as the D-word (no F-word uses).
Another reason why I would love to see Disney make R-rated films is because they have a lot of adult fans. Even the Disney parks and cruises have adults-only sections.
Disney also owns some companies that produce films for mature audiences. An example is Touchstone Pictures. There are also MCU, ABC, and Fox.
Regardless of my opinions, I do understand why Disney won’t make R-rated movies directly from themselves. Most people wouldn’t want to see them.
4: Space Jam: A New Legacy is a strong movie with great morals
Like Shrek the Third, this one did poorly too. It was even nominated for a Razzie award.
However, I enjoyed this movie a lot. It teaches important morals, such as how you should trust your authorities, but also follow your passions.

5: There is nothing wrong with a twist villain
I was surprised to see how many people dislike twist villains. An example would be Prince Hans from 2013’s Frozen.
I’m assuming that enough of you have seen the movie to know that Prince Hans is actually evil. And because many viewers were displeased by this, Disney considered having him reveal himself as a good guy in the sequel. But that didn’t happen.
Not only do I see nothing wrong with twist villains, but I’m also glad that Hans is the villain. I consider it a creative approach to make the prince the princess falls in love with wicked. Just because someone is good-looking and seems charming, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re trustworthy. I think that’s a crucial moral to teach kids.
Conclusion
All in all, different people have different opinions, including unpopular ones?
